The group that chose the to rappel with us hiked one mile to the first abyss... The Medieval Cavern.   A 90 foot total rappel into a dark hole... and landing twice in water!   For most, it was their first time ever rappeling!

 

After the first rappel, everyone put on their dry shoes and walked about 100 yards to the Morning Glory Bridge... And, with strained smiles, they looked down 120 feet to where the wedding would take place.  There was only one way down there and this was it.  Only 20 feet of rock and then a free rappel 100 feet down!
